Inspected and certified in five areas
During an in-depth inspection process, five key sustainability elements of our operation were examined: management quality, ecology, regionality, social commitment and performance. We are particularly proud of the ratings we received, including several of “very good”. These awards confirm that we are on the right track.

Hotel kommod: the second hotel in Liechtenstein with ibex fairstay certification
With ibex fairstay Gold certification, Hotel kommod takes its place as the second hotel in Liechtenstein in the growing community of sustainable accommodation providers. This is a milestone that motivates us to continuously ramp up our commitment.

Hotel director Christine Ströhle sums it up: “For us, sustainability means taking responsibility – for our guests, our employees, our region and coming generations. These awards are both an affirmation and incentive to continue purposefully on our chosen path.”

Holistic approach: Swisstainable Level III
In addition to the ibex fairstay Gold, we are now also proud to bear the Swisstainable Level III – leading label, the highest level of the Swiss sustainability programme. This programme recognises accommodation and catering providers who comprehensively cover all aspects of sustainability and undergo regular external inspection.

Sustainability is a journey, not a destination
For us at Hotel kommod, sustainability is not a one-off initiative, but an ongoing process. From the sparing use of resources and the promotion of regional providers to taking social responsibility for our guests and employees – we see it as our daily mission to create a hotel that is not only persuasive today but will also delight tomorrow.
